In this design tutorial, weโ€™re going to create a heart using Adobe XD. You can follow the same steps on Sketch, Figma, InVision, or any other design tool as well.

Mainly for beginners who are starting to learn new design tool and as well as for the design geeks out there๐Ÿค“

Letโ€™s Start ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Open the Adobe XD and create a new artboard of 1080x1080 pixels.

You can see the tools panel on the left side of the interface โฌ…

Where you can select the polygon tool or you can go with the handy shortcut (Polygon - Y)๐Ÿ”บ

๐Ÿ“ŒTip: Make sure to learn the shortcuts in the initial stages of learning. It helps you to learn and design much faster using the tool.

Use the polygon tool and draw a triangle with a similar size ๐Ÿ“

You can even manually enter the height and width on the right-side properties panel โžก

Change the corner count to (<3) on the right-side panel and see the magicโœจ The triangle turns into a โค

Now, Change the color fill on the right-side panel.

Add the drop shadow from the right-side panel.

Reduce the opacity to 50% and change the shadow color to #FF2D72.

There you go ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠ

You can change the fill to radial-gradient to have this 3D effect.
